Jim Revard and Rick Torix from the Oklahoma Marginal Well Commission were my guides for a visit to some sites in Osage County on March 11, 2011. We stopped by a tank battery for a few pictures at the Hightower site.
This site featured a large three-phase pump shown in this image. Equipment like this needs constant monitoring for maintenance and performance purposes. The Pumper’s Friend software can be used to monitor pressures and flows.
I am continually amazed at the creativity of folks in the oil field. The glass jar and some duct tape works very nicely here as a mail box for oil pick-up tickets.
